Yesterday on our safari of Wildlife photo tours at bandhavgarh, we spotted tigress called kankatti with her 3 cubs who are just 4-5 months old. It was a fantastic experience to see small one playing and one of them in the above image just took out the camera trap while playing with it. I am sure the camera trap took some nice jaw pics of the cub. Posting from bandhavgarh between safaris cheers 🙂
Photographed this young tiger last year from mirchani tigress in bandhavgarh N.P. After few days I heard he was sent to the zoo for some incident with a humans.
Bengal Tiger Backlit. For those who are not aware this is the new dominant male tiger from the famous bandhavgarh tiger reserve. Here a langur monkey sits near the entrance of a cave where the dominant male tiger of bandhavgarh sleeps. The langur was so curious that initial it would get close and after a glance run away, after a while he was sure the tiger is asleep and sat nearby. Curiosity is not just found in humans. It was a amazing moment to watch this guy.
With more than 20 vehicles lined to photograph this tiger cub including the BBC team, I somehow managed to get space for my vehicle but with a tree right in front. Bokha one of the dominant males in bandhavgarh. He was courting a tigress nearby in the bush and this flehmen behaviour was seen when this fella came out of the bush for a brief moment. Shot with nikon D300 + nikor 200-400 vr @300 mm.
B2 the dominant Male Bengal Tiger looking through the Grass in Bandhavgarh N.P. After the rains the forest becomes lush green and every where you find the white kash flowers seen here in the background. Here a male tiger called b2 hidden entirely in grass looks through with just his head visible.
Shot this tiger as it was passing through the forest, a small patch of light gave a spotlight effect, in Bandhavgarh national park. I love the drama created by light and shadows here.
